It’s a photographic essay about men in rural and urban landscapes. detachement from environment and vulnerability are the underlying themes of the book. The first edition consists of 50 handnumbered, signed copies and contains an original print of 19×23 cm.

Phenomenal, Lee Friedlander, Sticks and stones
This book isn’t out of print or anything, it’s just one of those rare gems which you can buy for say 25 euro’s? It’s one of the best Friedlander books out there. This guy is a photography-GOD! He manages to still make groundbreaking work and just won’t retire;-) It reads like a roadmovie and it’s just, well..sticks and stones photographed…
